How to convert a local OfficeCalendar Server installation to an OfficeCalendar On-Demand Server
To convert an existing local OfficeCalendar Server installation to an "On Demand Server" perform following actions:

1) From the OfficeCalendar website click "Your Account" at the top of the page to login to your account. From the "User's Area" setup an OfficeCalendar On Demand Server account by clicking "Create" under the "On Demand Servers" area. When creating an "Account Name" for the On Demand Server this will need to be different then the OfficeCalendar Online database name - if applicable (you'll also need to fill-in the Admin User fields, however those are arbitrary since the conversion will replace all usernames/passwords for you anyway). Then "Submit" and when the Installation Wizard appears choose to "Cancel" it.

2) Login to the local OfficeCalendar Server Administration Console (How do I access the OfficeCalendar Server Administration Console?) go to the "Advanced Features" tab and highlight "Server Conversion".

3) Input the OfficeCalendar account holders' "Email Address", "Password", and the newly created "On Demand Account" name and select the “Convert Local Server to On Demand Server" option and click "Convert".

4) Once the conversion is successful you must reconfigure the OfficeCalendar Client(s) to now sync with the new OfficeCalendar On Demand Server. Go into Outlook for each Client, click the Configure icon (hammer & wrench), and go to the "Server Connections" tab. Click the "On Demand Server" option and enter the newly created "On Demand Account Name".

5) Click "Test Connection" to test the actual connection from the machine to the OfficeCalendar On Demand Server. If the connection test comes back successful, please click "OK". If not, either the On Demand Server is not active, or the On Demand Server account name is entered incorrectly. Please try again.

6) The trial will be active for fourteen (14) days. Before you can permanently provision your licenses to the On Demand Server you must VOID the existing keycode for your local OfficeCalendar Server installation. Please log a trouble ticket with OfficeCalendar Technical Support so they can void this for you.

****NOTICE FOR OFFICECALENDAR MOBILE USERS*****
Any OfficeCalendar Clients using the OfficeCalendar Mobile application on their mobile device(s) will also need to adjust their synch "Settings" to synch to/from the new On Demand Server name as well (instead of the previous OfficeCalendar Online database name).
