| | Cannot see Personal or Confidential appointments within OfficeCalendar Online | | Question | | Why can't I see my Personal or Confidential appointments within my OfficeCalendar Online view or my BlackBerry? | Answer | Currently if an entry has a sensitivity of "Normal" within Outlook, OfficeCalendar will synchronize that entry and all applicable fields amongst the appropriate users. Those entries will also appear from any/all views within OfficeCalendar Online and a BlackBerry. If an entry has been assigned a "Private" sensitivity within Outlook, OfficeCalendar will recognize that as a valid entry however will only synch the subject of "Private Appointment" amongst the other appropriate users views. While the owner of the actual appointment will still display the all of the actual data in their Outlook and their OfficeCalendar Online/BlackBerry, this will be shown with the subject of "Private Appointment" within OfficeCalendar Online and a BlackBerry.
If entries have been assigned as "Personal" or "Confidential" within Outlook, OfficeCalendar cannot recognize those as valid entries. Therefore OfficeCalendar cannot synch them to the OfficeCalendar database or amongst any other OfficeCalendar users. Therefore, since the OfficeCalendar database populates the OfficeCalendar Online database (and subsequently the BlackBerry devices), any "Personal" or "Confidential" appointments will not be displayed within OfficeCalendar Online or on a BlackBerry. | Related articles | | Back to Search Results |
