I constantly receive email updates for my colleague's calendar but I cannot view the contents of his calendar. His calendar is empty on my machine even after several automatic Outlook Send/Receive processes.
Answer
Most email scanning programs such as AVG by default is set to attach a "certify e-mail" document. What this AVG setting does is add an attachment to each incoming and or outgoing email. The OfficeCalendar Aux emails do not allow for this type of action. When this setting is enabled in AVG OfficeCalendar users will not see any updated information or even an invitation to share a folder. Following the steps below will prevent the email scanning process from interfering with the OfficeCalendar aux emails.

** NOTE ** If the AVG settings were enabled prior to sharing the folders those shares must be deleted under the "My Shares" tab and then re-shared again.

** NOTE ** Be aware that even though the "certify e-mail" is disabled the computer is still protected from viruses. The steps below disable the email "certify e-mail" feature. As long as the email scanning feature is enabled, then if the machine receives a virus-infected attachment and opens it, AVG will jump in and block it as soon as it sees it is a virus.

To disable adding of AVG version 8.0 and up certification text to incoming or outgoing e-mails:

Open AVG by double clicking on its icon on in Outlook, Desktop, or in the Windows system tray.
