Answer Instructions for removing/uninstalling the OfficeCalendar Server are listed below: There are two components to an OfficeCalendar installation, the OfficeCalendar Server component which is installed on only one PC (the designated OfficeCalendar Server machine) and the OfficeCalendar Client component which can/may be installed on multiple PCs. [To uninstall the OfficeCalendar Client please review our Knowledge Base Article How to uninstall the OfficeCalendar Client for further details.] ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- To uninstall the OfficeCalendar Server component: ***Windows Server, XP*** 1a. Click Start--> Control Panel--> Add/Remove Programs. From the "Add/Remove Programs" listing, locate/highlight the "OfficeCalendar Server" and click "Remove". ***Windows Vista, Windows 7*** 1b. Click the Windows icon (lower left hand corner)--> Control Panel--> Programs and Features. From the "Programs and features" listing, locate/highlight the "OfficeCalendar Server" and click "Uninstall". 2. During the OfficeCalendar Server uninstall process you will be have to choose to remove or retain the OfficeCalendar data files. If you choose to remove the data files all traces of OfficeCalendar Server will be removed. If you choose the retain the data files then the OfficeCalendar database file (offcal.mdb) will be retained. ****If you are planning on re-installing the OfficeCalendar Server (and the same exact version) you can choose to "continue without removing data files" and it will retain your users/settings.
