Will OfficeCalendar function in a Terminal Services environment?
Answer
OfficeCalendar will function in a Terminal Server environment, however there are a few considerations that you must be aware of and account for.

OfficeCalendar Server Considerations:

*Local OfficeCalendar Server Installation
-A profile with Administrator priveleges must install the OfficeCalendar Server. This is then the only profile that will be able to access the OfficeCalendar Administration Console.

*OfficeCalendar On Demand Server Installation
-There are no special configurations to perform in terms of the OfficeCalendar On Demand Server. Each OfficeCalendar CLient simply needs to be configured to synch with the correct OfficeCalendar On Demand Server (additional information regarding this provided below).

Considerations for the OfficeCalendar Client PCs:

*If multiple users are logging into Windows under their own specific Windows Profile, there is one setting that they will each need to be manually configured within the their own OfficeCalendar Client. After the user logs into their own Windows Profile, open Microsoft Outlook. Next click on the Configure OfficeCalendar icon (hammer and wrench), go to the "Server Connections" tab and follow the instructions below based on the type of OfficeCalendar Server you are running.

Local OfficeCalendar Server:
-Enter the name of the machine into the "Primary Server Name" field, click "Apply", then click "OK".

OfficeCalendar On Demand Server:
-Enter the On Demand Server Name in the "On Demand Account Name", click "Test COnnection", click "Apply", then "OK".

Now this user can click the Synchronize OfficeCalendar icon (lightning bolt with calendar). When the user is prompted for an OfficeCalendar user name and password, the user should enter THEIR OWN specific OfficeCalendar user name and password as specified in the OfficeCalendar Server Administration Console and provided by the OfficeCalendar administrator. This process will need to be followed on each user's configuration, but will only need to be performed once for each user.
