When I copy and paste, cut and paste, or drag and drop entries from one calendar folder to another calendar folder in Outlook, the entries are repopulated back to the original calendar after an OfficeCalendar synch is performed.
Answer
If you copy and paste, cut and paste, or drag and drop an appointment or group of appointments, from calendar folder A to calendar folder B, this would result in the original appointments appearing in calendar A and in calendar B after the next OfficeCalendar synch.

The reason for this is that the OfficeCalendar synch is specifically checking to see if appointments have been edited or deleted. In the case of a copy and paste command, a cut and paste, or a drag and drop, no edit or deletion to the original appointment is performed. The appointment is simply moved to a different location. When the OfficeCalendar Client synchs, the OfficeCalendar Server notes that the appointment is not present in the local Outlook as it was previously, and no notation has been made by Outlook that it has been edited or deleted. As a result, the OfficeCalendar Server instructs the synch to add it back.

The best way to approach this scenario is to use the copy and paste function to move appointments from one calendar folder to another, and then to take the extra step of going to the original calendar folder and deleting the original appointment(s). This sends a message to the OfficeCalendar Server component to delete the appointments from the one calendar folder and to not add them back.
