| | | Recurring appointment exceptions between Outlook 2007 and previous versions of Outlook. | | | Question | | | Why does my recurring appointment exception occurrence in Outlook 2007 keep going back to the default Time zone? | | Answer | With the release of Outlook 2007, Microsoft added the ability to choose a specific time zone at the time of new recurring appointment creation. For example, if you are located in the Central time zone, when you add a new recurring appointment in Outlook 2007, you can at that time choose to specify a different time zone for that appointment.
Additionally, if a recurring appointment occurrence has a different time zone then the series and a non-Outlook 2007 user modifies or edits the appointment occurrence, the occurrence will default back to the original appointment series time zone after both the non-Outlook 2007 and Outlook 2007 user’s synch. | | Back to Search Results |
