Due to limitations on the BlackBerry API certain situations may arise whereby All Day Appointments may be duplicated to also display on a day before/after the actual scheduled date/time (depending) for the appointment. This is an issue with the BlackBerry time zone being set to a negative (GMT) time setting (i.e. GMT -6:00 Central Standard Time). BlackBerry users in a positive (GMT) time setting will be unaffected.
The entry will initially synch properly between Outlook, OfficeCalendar Online, and subsequently the BlackBerry. However, if the entry is then edited within the local Outlook or OfficeCalendar Online, after synching this will add a day either before or after the actual appointment day for the same appointment. If the edit is actually performed on the BlackBerry device the issue will not arise.
As a workaround you can delete the entry and recreate the entry in the BlackBerry and ensure it does not get changed from within Outlook or OfficeCalendar Online, or you can delete the All Day Appointment and re-create the entry with the same recurrence pattern (without the "All Day Appointment" setting) and this will also resolve the issue. | |
